This is a variant on the orignial holding it together ring.  I made the first version of this for my husband, since then, I've made a few for close friends or family going through (or having been through) a tough time.  The 18ct gold wires symbolise  something that may seem fragile or small that is strong enough to hold you together when it feels impossible.  I've textured and oxidised a 8mm wide silver band, which I've scrubbed back to give a nice contrast to the polish of the gold.
 
This ring fits a UK size V, or US size 10 5/8
